Land Analyst

Dream Finders Homes, one of the fastest growing public homebuilders In the United States, recognized for our commitment to quality and innovation.  As we continue to expand, We are seeking a talented Land Analyst to join our team.  This is a fantastic opportunity to play a critical role in evaluating and driving the financial feasibility of prospective land acquisitions, shaping the future for  Dream Finders Homes.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare initial budges for land acquisition and development opportunities
• Build and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate the projected profitability and return on investment of potential projects
• Conduct in-depth market research and analysis of sales comparisons, demographics, competitive products, entitlements, market treads and other critical factors impacting project viability
• Prepare comprehensive investment packages for internal land committee reviews and prospective investors
• Perform through due diligence procedures for potential land acquisitions ensuring all critical factors are analyzed and addressed.
• Generate insights and recommendations and present these to the senior management

Position Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field
• Experience in consumer insights, market research or related analytical field
• Previous real estate work experience is preferred
• Proficiency in Excel, Adobe PDF and Power Point
• Knowledge of methodologies involved in developing surveys (Distribution, Weighting, Data cleansing, A/B Testing etc.)
• Experience working with business intelligence and data visualization tools (preference for Looker or Power BI)
